Frank Ciolino

Welcome! I'm Frank Ciolino (aka Elmer Bay), a Detroit-based graphic designer specializing in logo design, brand identity, and creative direction. Since graduating from the College for Creative Studies in the late 1980s, I've been building brands, starting with early opportunities at Cromwell Communications working with clients like Little Caesars, Stroh Brewery, and the Michigan Lottery. During that time, I also shared my passion for design as an instructor at CCS. My career then led me to BBDO Detroit, where I focused primarily on the Dodge account during the agency's in-house design group expansion. Currently, I'm an Associate Design Director at Makerhouse Detroit, leading and mentoring on a variety of projects, including work for iconic Ford brands like Built Ford Tough and Bronco.
